Pelvic care and how I can help (pelvic floor)

Writer: Julia McJulia Mc

Breath work and breathing reeducation paired with active strengthen and lengthen exercise that help bring awareness and balance to pelvic floor muscles. External bodywork techniques that address structural balance from the outside to help support the inside along with body mechanics.

Abdominal massage that soothes and loosens stagnant viscera and energy, to help release tension in the lower body. Suggestions of gentle dynamic body movements to further support strengthening, lengthening, and balance. A sympathetic ear to listen about topics that may feel shameful or taboo.

The pelvis is an intricate, and emotionally complicated area of the body, and I will keep educating my self on how it works, the pathologies that arise, and how I can better address the needs of my clients.

I want people coming into my practice to understand that feelings like anger and frustration are normal, and that this is a safe place to gently begin to start addressing these emotions that are often times viewed as taboo. I invite clients to stop hiding from these feelings and learn to embrace them so that they can be let go from the body and we can step into a healthier happier way of being.

Problems like incontinence, prolapse, and pain with sex are all shrouded in shame and misunderstanding. If your doctor doesn't have time to really listen to you, or wants to just throw pills at you, this would be a good time to  make an appointment and discover the innate healing properties your body and soul already have.

I don't care if you are a vagina haver or a penis haver, all pelvises are important, and all beings need help and support at some point in their lives. Please feel free to contact me for a consult or with any questions you may have.
